R&L Development Company has been committed to delivering safe, high-quality union work in mass excavation, site development, renewable energy, landfills, and utility and maintenance projects.

We have successfully completed numerous mass excavation projects at both quarries and power plants. Most recently, we relocated over 457,000 cubic yards of material across a 2.5-mile stretch to prepare a site for future development.

Since our Founding in 1969, we have successfully completed numerous remediation projects ranging anywhere between redeveloping the Delaware river bank to a 1,000,000 Cubic Yard mine fire.

Since 2021, we have worked 7 Solar Projects totaling 7,934 Acres. Throughout those projects, we have installed over 318,000 Feet of E&S controls, 52 Acres of Laydowns and Turnarounds.

We have extensive experience working in MSW landfills across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York, completing landfill gas and forcemain extensions, HDPE liner cell expansions and capping projects, as well as drilling and installing landfill gas wells.

R & L is capable of covering a wide range of services necessary to meet the customer’s need. We have complete utility location, paving repairs, land clearing, landscaping, snow removal, material hauling and handling, and general repair services.
